I personally think that wikis can be an interesting tool, but there power can be abused. People use wikis to provide useful information to be used for further referance and understanding. I don't think that I will use wikis in a classroom setting because it is fairly unreliable because the fact that the information can be just plain false.
I believe that learning by conversing in communities is effective in some situations, but not in others. I personally think that traditional instruction is the most effective way to teach because the students feel as if they are getting a more hands on experience. I could use the attitudes of the students as evidence as to how much more efficient that communitites.
I think that all students have different learning abilties and their personalitities effect the way they learn. If the students take the personalality test they could use the information to learn what areas they are strong in and what areas need work. I think the personality test is a good way to get a better understanding of your students if you use it in an opinion basis only.
